Q: How do I get started?
A: The best place to start is to call 814-231-7700 to make an appointment. We will start by finding out what you would like for yourself. This means I want to know- if you had a magic wand- what would your teeth look like? Some people aren't sure what they want and that's ok, too. I can help with that. Then i will do a breif exam assess what we have to work with. I need to see the state of the health of your teeth, gums, bite, etc. and what symptoms you might have. We may get records. Records are study model impressions, x-rays, and neuromuscular diagnostics such as sonography.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: A cosmetic consultation is $55. We will discuss your dental goals, I will do a breif exam, and we can also do a computer imaging to show how you would look with that new smile. We will show you our many before and after photos, a short video of our patients talking about the procedure and how it changed their lives, and also a DVD to show you any of the dozens of procedures that we do. It is tailored to what you want for yourself- Each consultation is different.
Q: It's been a while since I've been to the dentist. Can I get a regular check-up and cleaning at the same time?
A: Yes! In fact we recommend that. Before we would start any treatment- even in-office whitening- it is paramount that your gums are healthy. In this case we would schedule you for an initial exam and cleaning. I will do a thorough exam and the hygenist will professionally clean your teeth. We will get any appropriate x-rays. We will also do everything included with the above cosmetic consultation visit. The fee for this visit is $154.
Q: I was told by another dentist that I might need a root canal for one tooth and another one must be extracted. Do you do that?
A: Yes! In addition to offering a wide range of cosmetic and restorative services I also do most general dentistry. This means that yes you can get your teeth cleaned here. Yes you can have a tooth extracted or a root canal, or a periodontal treatment. We also do a neuromuscular dentures and full mouth reconstructions.
Q: I have a dentist that I really like and have been going to her for years but I know that she does not really do much cosmetic dentistry. Can I come to you just for whitening or veneers and then return to her office?
A: Sure! This is a regular occurrence in our office. When people meet us and see our office and what we have to offer they quickly realize they are in a different place. We can get you fixed up and you can return to your dentist. It's ok to stay with us too- Whatever you are most happy with.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: We do not participate with any insurance plans but we will process your dental claims for you. We have found that we can not offer the highest level of excellent quality in dentistry if we are limited by what an insurance company says we must charge. We are, however, committed to maximizing you insurance benefits. We will send in your claims with x-rays, intra-oral images, Difoti images and letters if necessary to make sure you get your entitled reimbursements.
Q: Do you have payment options?
A: Sure we do! We accept cash, checks and credit cards. Right now we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also have payment plans- Even 12 months interest free.
Q: How do I set up a payment plan?
A: Once we figure out what your step by step dental treatment plan is, we can get started on figuring out how to make it fit your monthly budget. All it takes is a short phone call in the office, while you wait, and we can get approval. Our office will take care of everything.
